A French word pronounced “zhee clay” translates to “spray” or “spurt”, i.e the spraying of ink droplets as in an inkjet machine such as the Roland. The process uses pigmented inks on acid-free media, rated by the Wilhelm Institute for archival life in excess of 100 years when maintained in the same manner as any fine art original.

Our standard water color stock is Concorde Rag Bright White. It is also available in a Natural White. In addition, all the popular water color media are available, i.e. Arches, Rives, Somerset, etc.
